What We Do
Japanese Acupuncture
Traditional Chinese Medicine
A medicine based on more than 2000 years of knowledge. Acupuncture works with your body’s own innate intelligence to promote optimal health. Its unique diagnostic approach leads to a tailored treatment for your specific pattern of disharmony (cluster of symptoms). This treatment can include acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal medicine, exercise and breathing therapy and diet and lifestyle advice.
The Japanese style of acupuncture places greater emphasis on skilful palpation (touch) and very gentle insertion making it ideal for those of us who don't like needles and want a treatment to be painless and relaxing. You will enjoy individualised healthcare with a genuinely gentle approach. We use the highest quality Japanese needles that are extremely thin to ensure this gentle experience.
Paediatric Acupuncture
Moxibustion is a heat therapy employed by both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Japanese Acupuncture, commonly referred to as "moxa".  Moxibustion uses the dried herb mugwort on specific points of the body as an adjunctive therapy in some acupuncture treatments.
The painless treatment of children without the use of needles. Japanese paediatric acupuncture or Shonishin is used to treat children up to the age of 7 years.  Like adult acupuncture, Shonishin has its own unique set of diagnostic criteria which lead to a personalised treatment. Parents are taught simple massage techniques to use at home.

Fertility & IVF Support
Pregnancy Care
Chinese medicine theory focuses on regulating the menstrual cycle to support a woman's natural potential to conceive. We support  natural fertility for couples through stress management, diet and lifestyle advice. Many healthcare professionals suggest acupuncture as an adjunctive treatment that may assist with IVF. Consult your healthcare practitioner/s about how acupuncture may help you.
